Lifetime Warranty

This warranty is a binding commitment from Alba to the original purchaser. It is offered in addition to your statutory rights and does not replace them.

What is covered

Alba warrants each olive wood board against cracking, splitting, warping, and separation of the wood arising from the material itself, for the lifetime of the original purchaser, under normal household use.

What we do if it happens

We replace the board at no charge, including shipping. If an equivalent board is unavailable, we refund the full purchase price. You are never asked to pay a fee to make a claim, and you do not need to return the board before we act.

Reasonable care

Olive wood is a natural material and it responds to how it is kept. The warranty applies where the board has been given ordinary care:

• washed by hand and dried, not put in a dishwasher;
• not left soaking in water;
• oiled from time to time with a food-grade board oil, as wood boards generally require;
• not stored against a radiator, an oven, or in direct sunlight.

We do not ask for receipts of oil purchases or proof of a care routine. This clause exists to exclude clear misuse, not to avoid claims.

What is not covered

Ordinary marks of use such as knife scoring, surface scratches, darkening of the wood, or variation in grain and colour. These are characteristics of a natural material, not defects. Damage caused by fire, impact, or deliberate alteration is also excluded.

How to make a claim

Email the address in the footer with your order number and a photograph of the board. We reply within 2 business days and confirm the replacement or refund. No form and no registration are required.

Transfer

The warranty covers the original purchaser and is not transferable if the board is resold.
